Facilitator: Dr Rakeshnie Ramoutar-Prieschl obtained her Doctorate in Business Management and her Master’s in Biotechnology. She currently holds the position of Head of Department: Research Capacity Development at the University of Pretoria where she is responsible for the portfolio that includes: (i) grants management, (ii) early career training and mentorship, as well as driving (iii) strategic partnerships in support of staff doctoral candidates. Dr Ramoutar-Prieschl has been appointed as a facilitator, lecturer, and trainer for numerous projects in Africa geared towards strengthening the research and grants management capacity, both at universities as well as science granting councils
