What documents need to be uploaded for an application to be complete?

  • Full academic record - if you are not currently a Nelson Mandela University student and if your previous degree was not completed at Nelson Mandela University.
  • Proof of Income - if you will not be receiving any income for the specified academic year, a dated and signed letter will need to be included with your application indicating this.
  • International Students Accreditation - international students will need to have their final Undergraduate/Honours/Masters results converted to a percentage and accredited by the Nelson Mandela University International Office.
  • Proof of previous NSFAS funding, if applicable.
  • Documentary proof of other Bursaries/Scholarships/Sponsorships, if applicable.
