The USC provides individual consultations to Masters and Doctorate students and Staff members participating in research. These individual consultations are aimed at assisting students and staff to tailor the analysis requirements for their research. During these individual consultations, the consultants will guide the students and staff on the appropriate analysis to be applied and statistical decisions to be made.

The prerequisite to booking an individual consultation is the completion and passing of the USC Introduction to Quantitative Research Methodologies course, which is freely available to all registered Masters and Doctorate students, and staff members participating in research. More information on the course can be found on the Courses page.

The students and staff are expected to perform their own basic analysis, these techniques are taught in the course. Any advanced techniques required can be performed by the consultants. The consultants are available to assist with the interpretation of the results, but it will remain the student’s responsibility to write up all results.
