Facilitator: Dr Kambidima Wotela is an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Scholar and a William and Flora Hewlett Foundation Fellow. He studied demography and population studies for all his degrees. He teaches systems thinking, evaluation, as well as research and analytical methods at the WITS Graduate School of Governance. One of his current research streams is on approaches to research supervision.

Background: This workshop explores qualitative research designs and related procedures and methods.

 

Expected Outcomes:

  • Empirical interrogation as well as empirical application of qualitative designs and related research procedures and methods
  • How to present qualitative research results and discuss qualitative research findings
